Lutfa Bibi started to learn this form of embroidery from her mother from the age of 12. She participated in different government exhibitions in West Bengal and Delhi.

Lutfa Sultana started learning kantha art at the age of 10, from her mother Lovely Biwi, an excellent kantha artist. She started visiting exhibitions with her mother and now she participates in different exhibitions alone in different parts of India. She also visited Oman along with her work.

She is skilled in making intricate designs over various items such as – stole, dupatta, saree, cushion covers, bed covers,boutique bags, churidar etc. Aslima has participated in fairs around Kolkata, Goa, Bankura and Berhampore. She was awarded 2nd by DRDC. Along with her own works and participating in fairs, Aslima has been a trainer for many workshops in Goa, Burdwan and Kolkata.

Along with her own works and participating in fairs, Anjila has been a trainer for many workshops in Burdwan.
