Being involved with this craft for the past 2 decades, not only she travelled all around India but also across India like Lithuania, Paris, Japan, China, France, Germany and Sweden. Presently there are more than 200 women working under her.

She was awarded 2nd by DRDC. Along with her own works and participating in fairs, Aslima has been a trainer for many workshops in Goa, Burdwan and Kolkata.
