Being involved with this craft for the past 2 decades, not only she travelled all around India but also across India like Lithuania, Paris, Japan, China, France, Germany and Sweden. Presently there are more than 200 women working under her.

Lovely Bibi started learning this form of embroidery from her mother and grandmother from the age of 10. She is an expert in making traditional kantha. She participated in different exhibitions all over India. She also travelled to Europe to showcase her beautiful kantha products.

She is skilled in making intricate designs over various items such as – stole, dupatta, saree, cushion covers, bed covers,boutique bags, churidar etc. Aslima has participated in fairs around Kolkata, Goa, Bankura and Berhampore. She was awarded 2nd by DRDC. Along with her own works and participating in fairs, Aslima has been a trainer for many workshops in Goa, Burdwan and Kolkata.

Along with her own works and participating in fairs, Anjila has been a trainer for many workshops in Burdwan.
