Lutfa Sultana started learning kantha art at the age of 10, from her mother Lovely Biwi, an excellent kantha artist. She started visiting exhibitions with her mother and now she participates in different exhibitions alone in different parts of India. She also visited Oman along with her work.

Minufa Yasmin has participated in fairs conducted in Kolkata City Center-II, Khadi Mela, Poush Mela and others around Bardhaman and Kolkata.
