Sunil is into Raibenshe genre of folk dance form since childhood. He has learnt from his father late Gushadhwaj Thandar who was his guru. Sunil is the leader of Dhali Bratachari Raibeshe Sangha and performs dhali dance as well. He has performed in Delhi, Kolkata, Jammu and Jharkhand. His team has won the district award several times.

Gopal Chandra Sarkar is a Raibenshe artist of Doulatabad village in Murshidabad. He started his training before he turned 5 under the guidance of his grandfather Kishori Mohan Sarkar. Later on his father, Balaram Sarkar sharpened his skills. He is proficient in martial art, gymnastics, and acrobatics. He is the leader of Srishti Dance Academy and this group has 13 male members and 5 female members. He has performed in Kolkata, Tepantar, Kalimpong, Siliguri, Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Delhi and Assam.
