Raibenshe Utsav has been celebrated for the first time in Burwan in Murshidabad in the year 2017. More than 3000 people from nearby districts attended the Mela.. The visitors were from Kolkata, Krishnanagar and from Murshidabad. It was a treat for the visitors as this was the first time Raibenshe mela was organised. There was an air of enthusiasm among the participants. The artists want the mela to be held every year as they have got the opportunity to showcase their art.
