Uttam Chitrakar is a resident of Pingla village in Paschim Medinipur. He is being practicing the art for over 20 years. In early days, Dulual Chitrakar, father of Uttam Chitrakar used to make idols of goddesses and from him Uttam drew the first insight of paininting but the primary driving force for him was the Patas of Anwar Chitrakar. Uttam is mostly interested in painting Bengal Patas and is one of the most skilled artists in the area. He has participated in various fairs around - Kolkata, Delhi, Chennai, and many other parts of India. Apart from fairs, Uttam Chitrakar has contributed his knowledge and skills with some students from an Italian school through online communication.

She learnt the art of painting from the legendary Patachitra artists Dukhushyam Chitrakar. Monimala is mostly interested in painting both Bengal and Santhal Patas. She has presented a Pata on Ramayana in Bhopal. Monimala being one of the most skillful and renowned Patachitra artist has visited many parts of the country and also overseas like – Auckland, London, America, Thailand, Holand, Lithuania, Hungary and many more. Monimala Chitrakar has received award from Rabindra Bharati University in 2001.

He learnt the art of painting from the legendary Patachitra artists Dukhushyam Chitrakar. He is interested in painting both Bengal and Santhal Patas. Rahim being one of the most skillful and renowned Patachitra artist has visited many parts of the country and also overseas like – Japan and Bangladesh. Rahim Chitrakar has received state award. Rahim has visited in major universities of India like – Orissa and Rajkot.

Mamoni Chitrakar, daughter of Swarna Chitrakar has been painting Patas and singing the songs related to the form since childhood. She has been trained at home by her mother and specializes in paintings on Manasha Mangal and Chandi Mangal. Influenced by seniors, Mamoni has also painted on issues like HIV, 9/11 and Tsunami. She has showcased her art at Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and also at Italy and Bahrain. She participated in a cultural exchange program with Smithsonian Centre for Folklife and Cultural Heritage, visited Smithsonian Folklife Festival 2018 in Washington, D.C. and performed at cultural institutions like Freer|Sackler gallery.

Sushama Chitrakar is a prominent, young Patachitra artist from Pingla block in Paschim Medinipur district. She started learning the art at the age of five from her parents Rani Chitrakar and Shyam Sundar Chitrakar, well-known Patachitra artists. Sushma specialises in painting on social issues, alongside traditional themes. She paints on diverse items as well as traditional Patachitra. Sushama has participated in events across India and also been to Norway and Taiwan.
