Ranjana Deb Sharma is a resident of Sahabhita village of Itahar block, Uttar Dinajpur. She has been practising dhokra craft for the last 20 years and has imbibed the art of weaving skill from her parents. She makes traditional carpets as well as bags, table mats, coasters, runners and other decorative items. She is also equipped in developing finer thread and dyeing them and is specialised in Jacket stitching and provides training for the same. She has worked as a master trainer in many workshops. Ranjana has participated in fairs in Kolkata, Raiganj and Bolpur.
