Under the aegis of the project, 92 artists have been trained on multiple aspects including inculcating a better understanding of colours and designs to the weavers in accordance to market trends and context, quality improvement, skill upgradation on yarn usage, visualization of designs and its implementation, creation of a range of diversified products. A total of 32 artists have also been trained on business strategy, communication, digital and financial skills so that they not only derive the capability to initiate and sustain independent entrepreneurial ventures but also derive the ability to communicate about the history and practice of their aesthetic tradition to outsiders.
