Deb Kumar Pal is a resident of Ghurni, Krishnanagar in the Nadia district. He has been practising clay craft for the last 20 years. Deb has learnt the craft from his guru Biren Pal. Earlier, his father Harendranath Pal was an idol maker and he got his first learning of making idol from his father but gradually Deb took a different path after meeting his guru. He is specialised in making of clay dolls of various sizes and human figures. He started with 2-3 inches figures but has made large size figure ranging from 10 feet and more. He has been to Delhi, Sikkim, Kolkata and other parts of India for exhibition and museum work.

Satyajit Pal is a resident of Ghurni, Krishnanagar in the Nadia district. He has been practising clay craft for the last 22 years. Satyajit has learnt the craft traditionally from his father Narattam Pal. He is specialised in making of clay dolls of various sizes, Mini Durga idols, large size statues and other show pieces. Satyajit Pal has received state award in 2017 and Kalyani University honours in 2022. He has participated in fair and exhibitions around – Goa, Delhi, Shimla, Gujrat and Bihar.
