Deb Kumar Pal is a resident of Ghurni, Krishnanagar in the Nadia district. He has been practising clay craft for the last 20 years. Deb has learnt the craft from his guru Biren Pal. Earlier, his father Harendranath Pal was an idol maker and he got his first learning of making idol from his father but gradually Deb took a different path after meeting his guru. He is specialised in making of clay dolls of various sizes and human figures. He started with 2-3 inches figures but has made large size figure ranging from 10 feet and more. He has been to Delhi, Sikkim, Kolkata and other parts of India for exhibition and museum work.

Manoranjan Das is a resident of Ghurni, Krishnanagar in the Nadia district. He has been practising clay craft for the last 25 years. Manoranjan has learnt the craft traditionally from his father lt. Bhanjan Das. He is specialised in making of clay dolls of various sizes and human figures. He has received state award in 2013 and district awards in 2013, 2014 and 2015. Manoranjan Das has participated in fairs and exhibitions in Hyderabad, Kolkata and Delhi.
