Sunil Pal of Ranibandh in Bankura is a popular Jhumur artist who started learning music from a very young age. He went on to train under two legendary singers — Salabat Mahato and Dhirendranath Sardar. Sunil has performed not only across West Bengal but also in cities like Lucknow, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Dehradun, Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Bhubaneswar. He also teaches the rich tradition of Jhumur to young artists.

Mousumi Mukherjee is a Jhumur singer performing since the late-1990s, Trained under eminent Jhumur exponent Mihirlal Singh Deo, her songs are part of two albums — Bankura and Lal Matir Jhumur. She has performed across West Bengal and in New Delhi.
