Jagannath Kumbhakar is a resident of Panchmura village in Bankura. He is being practicing the art for over 30 years. He has learnt the art of teracotta from his grandfather Madanmohan Kumbhakar. Jagannath has provided training in Jharkhand, Chasttisgarh, Delhi and Kolkata. He has received state award and has visited France in 2015.He is an expert in making wall hangings, frames, dolls and other décor items. Jagannath Kumbhakar has also participated in fairs in and around India.

Though it started as a playful thing for him, but ended up winning him the State Award. He took part in many private and government exhibitions all over India. He also gives terracotta workshops pan India. He specializes in making terracotta tiles.

Dipankar Kumbhakar started learning terracotta at the age of 5, from his father. And from the age of 18 he started taking part in various exhibitions pan West Bengal. He specializes in making terracotta horses and elephants.

Bhrojonath Kumbhakar started learning this form of art from his father at the age of 14. He is famous for his innovative home décor products. He also won both State & Dist awards. He is quite regular in the exhibitions and workshops, pan India.

Krishna Kumbhakar shifted to Panchmura, at his maternal Aunt’s place at the age of 4 after he lost his father. Since that time he started learning this art form from his immediate family. He specializes in making beautiful artistic models, terracotta mementos and visiting cards.
