Norbu Tshering Lepcha is a famous Lepcha dancer in Darjeeling. He has learnt it from his father Sonam Tsering Lepcha, a noted Lepcha dancer and a Padmashree Awardee. Norbu is also a choreographer and teaches dance to the young generation of dancers in the community. He has performed in Kolkata, Bomdilla and Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh, Delhi, Guwahati, Shillong, Ranchi, Odisha, Kulu in Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat and Bihar. He has won the state award in 2014.

Garjan Kumar Mallick is a famous Dhimal dancer. He started his career as an artist while he was in college. Now he is a teacher who imparts training to the young generation in his community. He has performed in Kolkata, Delhi, Guwahati and Bihar. He has also performed in Kolkata Doordarshan programme.

Manisha Mallick is a traditional dancer of the community. She has started dancing at the age of 10 yrs. Her guru is Garjan Mallick. Her elder brother is also a traditional dancer and her mother Laxmita Mallick is a traditional singer. Dipak Mallick is a traditional Dhol player of the community. He has started playing Dhol at the age of 20yrs. At the age of 12yrs he started accompany with Kirtan group as a Khol player. He is a self learned Dhol player, musically inspired by his father Agen Mallick who is Flute player. He has performed many places like Kolkata, Shantiniketan, Assam, Guwahati, Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Coochbehar, Delhi, Bihar, program of Dhimal at Siliguri Doordarshan etc.

Manghangma Limbu is a traditional dancer, singer and instructor of her community, resides at Gairi gaon village of Bijanbari Darjeeling. At the age of 15yrs old she learnt this art form from her sister Sukmaya Limbu. She has performed at Kalimpong, Dungra busty, Darjeeling, Dooars, west Sikkim, Saureni at Mirik etc. She has received recognition from Sapshok Saploan Chumphok Sikkim, Kalimpong folk fest etc. As a trainer she has trained many artist at Kalimpong and her local area.

Bhaktahang Limbu

Bhaktahang Limbu is a Chabrung dancer and trainer from Sumbuk busty of Bijanbari Darjeeling. He has started practicing the Chabrung dance at the age of 18 yrs old from his father late Buddhiman Limbu. He has performed at Kalimpong, Darjeeling, Kurseong, Mirik, Nepal etc. He has trained many artist of Bijanbari, Lama gaon at Rimbik, Kalimpong and his local area also. Received recognition from Kalimpong folk fest.

Tsewang Paljor

Tsewang Paljor is a 68 yrs old Tibetan opera, music and dance specialist from Kalimpong. He is a retired teacher of Central Tibetan Schools Administration under ministry of Human Resource Development. From school he started learning Flute, Dram-nyen(Tibetan lute) and Tibetan opera. He is practicing and teaching this art form for last 20 yrs. He is associated with Gangjong Doeghar (Himalayan Performing Art) and KTOA (Kalimpong Tibetan Opera Association is the first Opera association in India) as a secretary since 1998 and 2000 respectively. He is group leader and narrator for the performance. He has performed many time with his group at Karnataka, Odisha, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Bhutan, Nepal etc.
