Sitalpati was part of the Rural Craft Hub project (2013-2016). In this phase seeing the positive impact new artists have joined in the project from other areas. Tufanganj is a new cluster where work has started. 259 artists have been trained on multiple aspects including different weaving patterns, motifs, basic product development and finishing of products. They were also trained on different processes required to develop new and diversified product range having high market value. A total of 55 participants have been trained on business strategy, communication, digital and financial skills so that they not only derive the capability to initiate and sustain independent entrepreneurial ventures but also derive the ability to communicate about the history and practice of their aesthetic tradition to outsiders.
