Shola work is found in small hamlets in villages of West Bengal. The prominent hubs are Mathurapur in South 23 Parganas, Bonkapashi in Purba Bardhaman, Bhatibari in Alipurduar, Atghara in Uttar Dinajpur, Dakshin Dehat in Kushmandi, Surul in Birbhum. However, communication is better across Birbhum, Purba Bardhaman and South 24 Parganas.
