Baul Chitrakar is a Patachitra artist of repute. He started painting Patachitra from the age of 12 and has learnt the art form from his father Late Sadananda Chitrakar who was his guru. He paints traditional pat on contemporary issues like environment and aforestation. He facilitated a Patachitra workshop as a master trainer held last year in Majramura.Baul has participated in a number of fairs in Kolkata and Delhi.
