Purulia’s Chau mask has been included in the purview of intervention since 2013, under the aegis of RCH project and covers a total of 387 mask makers. Under the aegis of the project, the artists have received several trainings including product and design development, product diversification, business strategy development, digital, communication and financial skills. The disseminated trainings focused on enhancing entrepreneurial capacities of the mask makers and aimed at improving their market fate.
