Nadia
There are about 181 string puppeteers from 15 villages in Nadia district who practice and showcase this art form. The main blocks from where they come are Hanskhali, Karimpur II, Nabadwip, Ranaghat I and Ranaghat II.
Bankura
About 6 string puppeteers from 3 villages in Bankura district are covered under the RCCH initiative. Sonamukhi is the main blocks from where these puppeteers come.
