Chadar Badar is a performing art form that does not have much taker in today’s day and age. It is a dying art form that needs to be safeguarded. A two day workshop was conducted on September 22-23, 2022 with 84 artists to make the younger generation of artists aware of such a performing art form. Since the number of practitioners of this art form is very low, transmission of the art form itself is becoming very limited. In this workshop around 9 groups of Chadar Badar participated. The workshop module comprised on introduction, technical understanding regarding visual presentation of the puppets, demonstration of the performance by the artists and use of song during the performance.
