The four days event included handicraft exhibition cum sale, roundtable conversations around the shared living heritages of Patachitra and Kantha from both Bengals, learning workshops on Patachitra painting and natural colour-making, shola craft work, and folk performances of Chau dance was organised at Bangladesh National Museum, Dhaka. between September 30-Oct 3, 2023.
The event was inaugurated on 30th Sept, 2023 in the presence of the Minister of State, Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Bangladesh, DG, Bangladesh National Museum, Secretary, Bangladesh National Museum, and Dr. Susan Vize, OIC, UNESCO Dhaka.
