Jyotsna is a housewife of Kenjakura weavers’ community. She learns weaving after marriage for financial help of in-laws family. As there is lack of scope in weaving versatile products, 44 years old Jyotsna weaves towels only. Now being a skilled weaver in the artisans’ community she can weave varieties stoles, hand towels of new designs and sizes.

32 years old Tapasi had no idea of weaving in his father’s house. She starts weaving after her marriage and last 15 years she is involved in weaving for livelihood. She weaves sarees, bed covers, stoles and Gamcha. Tapasi is increasing her skill through training and workshops and has acquired extra ordinary skill of weaving with fine threads.
